Houston, Texas – December 19, 2018 – GreenSpace Holdings, LLC (GSH) is pleased to announce that their founders have received communication from both the US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) and the European Patent Office (EPO) concerning their first international patent applications which cover different designs and container stacking configurations inside a multi-story self-storage facility, including the designs and stacking configurations used in their Pearland, Texas and Houston, Texas facilities.
“We are extremely excited about the latest communication with these intellectual property governing bodies, and we feel the news we received continues to add to strength and sustainability to our overall concept of stacking shipping containers to construct multi-story self-storage facilities,” said GSH Co-Founder David Ledoux.
He also added, “We have learned, and continue to learn about the overall intellectual property strategy that must be deployed in the current economic climate in which we live. We couldn’t be more pleased with our counsel, whose strategy advice we have taken since the beginning of this entire process. His advice and counsel have led us to this very exciting time in our company’s very short history.” GSH’s owners have retained Mr. Steve Levine of Carrington, Colman, Sloman & Blumenthal, LLP as their intellectual property counsel.
The particulars of the USPTO and EPO communication have not yet been released, but the Company is expected to release the details in 2019 Q1. Concerning the details of the communication, David Ledoux said, “We would love to share all of our recent communications with the world, but we have been advised against it by our counsel, until we receive official paperwork from both patent offices, which we expect in the early Spring of 2019.”
